mommy research

Jokes have always been a mystery for me. It is me who always tells the punchline first, or forgets the punchline all together. My dear friend, Maryam, would tell people that I am funny without knowing it--I still don't understand what she meant by that. So, as a mother of two boys who like to giggle, I am in the process of trying to find good jokes the kids will somehow understand, can memorize and share with others. Thus, my intense mommy research. SO, if you know some please share!

In my research, here are some that tickled me, and made me think as well:

1: A noise woke me up this morning.
2: What was that ?
1: The crack of dawn!

What do you call an ant from overseas?
Import-ANT!

Q: What did the bee say to the flower?
A: Hello honey!

This isn't really a joke, but it's one of my favorites...

People have been making allegations....and I KNOW who the ALLIGATORS are!

while i was in Italy my host sister asked me what i thought an umbaciatore(sp?) is, I understood "bacio" which means "kiss". So I said it must be someone who kisses a lot--it was an ambassador. they laughed for DAYS!
